Turkeys are pasture raised on a rotational grazing plan. They are rotated so that the pasture stays healthy and is regenerated from their manure to help control parasites in the pasture. They are fed a whole grain feed mix with kelp. Kelp contains more than 53 trace minerals in perfect balance with each other which leads to amazing tasting meat. Our livestock on Turkeyfoot Farm never receive antibiotics, growth hormones or steroids. At least 60 % of their diet comes from the pasture in the form of bugs, worms, and forage like clover, which makes for some happy turkeys.
Turkeys are first come first serve , from November 4 on. You can email to see what is available and to arrange a pick up time. You can email at rymaehook@gmail.com and I will send you information.
